Senior Pastor Candidate Update
Hey Rock Hill family! 👋
After much prayer, discussion, and discernment, Rock Hill’s Senior Pastor Selection Committee is excited to announce Dr. Heath Peloquin as the candidate to preach in view of a call to be our next Senior Pastor. Heath and his lovely wife, Jennifer, have spent the past 7 years in Shreveport, Louisiana, where Heath has served as the Senior Pastor at Summer Grove Baptist Church.
He received his Doctor of Ministry in Evangelism and Missions from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also received a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Dr. Peloquin and his wife have four children: Emilee, Ethan, Anna, and Logan.
God has gifted Heath with tremendous enthusiasm and passion for the lost. His faithfulness to the Word of God and his communication style make his sermons both powerful and engaging. He is uniquely gifted to communicate the Gospel clearly to all ages. He possesses the rare qualities of an evangelist’s heart, faithfulness to God’s word, and the ability to relate to all he meets.
We are excited for what the Lord will have for us in this next season!
