VBS Day 5 – Volunteer Update!

Aron Adalian   -

Hello Rock Hill VBS Volunteers!!

It is our final day of VBS and it has been a fantastic week!  Thank you all so much for investing your time this week to share who God is with families in our community! LET’S FINISH STRONG! Tonight take time to let your group(s) know that you have enjoyed spending time with them this week, that they are welcome at our church, and that you hope to see them again! Encourage them to remember that God knows them and knows what they are going through, and they can pray to God like Daniel and His friends.  If you have a child that has asked about being baptized or about how to become a Christian, please write a note on you class role next to their name (example: asking about baptism).  We would love to setup a time to meet with them and their parents about a faith conversation!

Tonight after VBS we will need some help cleaning up to prepare for Sunday morning.  VBS Cleanup will take place after all children have been delivered to their parents!  We will be taking up lanyards like we have all week!  Crew leaders, please be sure that all children get all their crafts from the week!

This Sunday

This Sunday we would like to invite children who attended VBS to help lead our worship services for our 9:45 am and 11:00 am services. If you would like your child to participate in the singing, please check-in your child BY 9:30 AM at the check in desk and drop them off in their Sunday Morning Class (Grade School is upstairs and Preschool is downstairs). Kid’s classes will make their way to the sanctuary at 9:35 AM.  After the completion of their singing, kids will make their way back to their classrooms for Sunday morning activities.

At the end of the 9:45 service, Kid’s classes will heads back into the sanctuary to lead worship for the 11:00 AM service. After singing during the 11:00 am service Grade school VBS groups will head to Kid’s worship, located in the fellowship hall and preschool groups will head back to their Sunday school classes.  At 12:00 pm parents will pick up their children from their classes and head outside the front doors to enjoy snow cones!! Kona Ice will be onsite making snow cones for all our VBS families!!  Please join us as we celebrate all that God has done during the week!

**We would love for you to help us in our classrooms to receive children and help them get setup! Crew leaders who are not Sunday school leaders, we would love for you to help us in the classrooms with your kids from VBS.  Kid’s will be arriving by 9:30 AM and leaders will need to be ready to receive them at 9:15 AM.  Thank you so much for your help passing on fait to the next generation!**
